In a bizarre partnership that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Revealed
According to the official statement, "An unusual meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of prohibited rituals and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine sect.
The questline concentrates on "bizarre trials and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Metamorphoses
The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
